Another year for the Limaland Tour!  All the info has been on the tour page for months if you haven’t seen it already.  Follow our Facebook link for the most current information for the event.  All the details are coming together in orderly fashion!

Pre-registration closes Thursday evening.  Day of registration will open at 6:45 with Mass Start send off at 8 AM.  But, why not save some time for you and us and register before?  Sheriff escort to start the ride again this year and intersections will be rolled through if staying with the group.  Expect ~15 mph to warm up and get out of town for the first 4 miles.

SEE YOU SATURDAY!!  THE FLOODS WILL BE GONE BY THEN OR WE HAVE ALTERNATE ROUTES AS A LAST RESORT.  EVERYONE WILL BE SAFE!

2015 is Upon Us!

Great meeting and social outing at Casa Lu Al in January.   Brief highlights of the meeting:

-June 20th will be our Limaland Bicycle Tour from the YMCA featuring new routes to the east of Lima with war memorial and veterans attractions along the routes.  We will also look to work with a local veterans charity group and make a donation from the tour proceeds.  Looking to secure a significant sponsor or two for the tour in 2015 to help grow the event and cycling in our area ($500-1500).
-David Pauff is our new treasurer.
-Continued efforts with local cycling initiatives and groups for 2015.
-2014 was a successful year with measurable improvements in meetings, membership enrollment and ride attendance.
-Tax exempt and non-profit status is up to date and complete.
-Official Team Roadrunners jerseys are in the works and will be available by late spring.
